I have created a google form that I have shared among girls/people who I know are autistic or may be questioning this.
https://forms.gle/9FBqyUuGKLgCNuxq9
I posted this on a range of social medias such as Facebook, Instagram and TikTok in groups and targeted to autistic women and girls to ensure I was reaching the correct target audience.
My statistics and responses from this google form are on a separate post named 'Google Forms Responses and Data'
I have also asked the SENDCO at my college to complete an interview with me around autism in girls/women. The questions I have asked are:
1. What is your role at UTC Sheffield?
2. What is your understanding of autism as a whole?
3. Do you think it is harder to recognise autism in women than in men? If so, why?
4. Have you noticed more of an awareness/understanding of autism in women recently?
5. What do you think needs to change in order for autism in women to be more recognised and understood?
